Jamaica Club Basketball Association (JCBA) 2025/2026 Club Registration

Becoming a JCBA Certified Club


Joining the JCBA means your club gains access to official certification, recognition, insurance coverage, and benefits that elevate your program and players. Any organization involved in the development and growth of youth community basketball is eligible to apply for affiliation. The JCBA scholastic season runs from September 1 – March 31 and the club season from April 1 - August 31 each year.

Registration Requirements


All clubs must complete the online registration form and pay the non-refundable JMD $5,000 registration fee. Clubs that do not yet meet all certification requirements will have a 60-day grace period to fulfill them in order to remain in good standing.


Financial Requirements (non-refundable)


  • Registration Fee: JMD $5,000 per season

  • Club Insurance: JMD $46,500 per season

  • Uniforms: JMD $5,00 per set (12 minimum)

  • Website: JMD $15,000 per year

  • Team Registration Fee: JMD $5,000 per season


Certification Standards


To become a JCBA Certified Club, the following must be in place (or in progress within the 60-day grace period):


  • Club Identity: Registered club name & community/region represented

  • Members: Boys and/or Girls programming/teams for ages 6–21

  • Staff Verification: Head coach & staff background checks (or proof in progress)

  • Practice Facilities: Practice court (1–3 days per week)

  • Competition Venue: Home competition court available

  • Recruitment Plan: Tryout schedule & location for new players

  • Digital Presence: At least one active social media page (Instagram + one other)

  • Safety Training: CPR training completed by staff
